If I ever see you again, that’s a pretty big if.

I don’t even know what I would say to you. Last time we talked, we didn’t have to say anything.

You wrapped yours arms around me and I started stammering about all the things I wanted to say.

“Shhh, I know,” you said. “Don’t say anything. I know. I know, me too, it’s all okay.”

You were the first person I ever knew that I never had to talk to.
