The meeting was brief. They signed some papers and it was done.
Kevin’s wife sat across from him, smiling broadly at the attorney.
“This is the happiest day of my life,” he said.
After the divorce was finalized, he decided to go back to painting. He didn’t have a dime to his name, but he loved how much his wife hated painting.
“Ew. Why would you waste all that time painting? If you want some art for the walls, I’ll just buy some.”
